Individual Psychotherapy

As a depth oriented therapist I support individuals in addressing patters, areas they are stuck, relational and communication struggles, as well as having a core focus on understanding how hidden desires, repressed memories, and unconscious conflicts drive current behavior and what can be supported to make lasting shifts.

  • Therapeutic Relationship: I work to build a strong container where a trusting bond can be built to support the exploration of deep, often painful emotions.

  • Techniques: Sessions may involve exploration of childhood experiences, somatic experiencing, parts work, and working with unconscious material. It may also include more mainstream techniques that include exposure therapy, CBT, DBT techniques, EMDR, active imagination and building self-regulation skills.

  • Goals: My job is to support you in reaching goals by having a clear plan on how to support you in getting where you want to go. This includes working with conscious and unconscious material that may be getting in the way.

Familes and Couples

  • I use Emotionally Focused Therapy with families and couples to support building emotional connection to help heal and help each party to grow and move in the direction of health.

  • I support families and couples who have a loved one struggling with an eating disorder. I provide psycho-education, resources, and relationship repair. I also do this with trauma survivors where they are wishing to break intergenerational patterns within family systems.

  • I offer short term pre-martial counseling to help couples strengthen their relationship, improve communication, and address potential conflict areas and concerns. I offer equine assisted therapy to support the above areas with family and couples, while also creating a program that fits your needs. I offer earth based work and day longs as well.

  • You can expect the first several sessions to be a space and time to ask questions and explore your needs and desires for therapy. Together we will see if we are the right fit for each other to ensure the best care.

    Together will will review office policies, procedures and confidentiality. We will explore what brings you here and address your current struggles, history, family, relationships, and overall well-being. You'll discuss what you hope to achieve in therapy. Together we will discuss the best treatment options for you.

  • My intention is providing quality mental health services, treating you with respect as a whole person, rather than focusing on a diagnosis, illness, or condition. I acknowledge that certain struggles may bring you into therapy and I practice treating people from an integrative approach.

    Managed care companies often require personal information about your treatment and have the ability to determine the length, frequency, and duration of treatment and what types of treatment and diagnoses they cover. It is important me to preserve the integrity of the therapeutic process and your healing journey.

    I understand that without insurance reimbursement, the therapeutic support that you need and deserve may not be financially accessible; therefore, super-bills can be provided to you at your request, if you have out of network benefits. Please note, it will be required by the insurance company to contain a clinical diagnosis in order to approve your claim, which we will discuss in your treatment. You can check in with your insurance about what they will reimburse you.

  • I offer telehealth therapy to individuals residing in California via a HIPAA secure platform.

  • Duration of therapy is not the same for each person. We will discuss your options for types of therapy and what will work for you based on your current needs and finances.

  • Payment is due the date of service and I accept cash, check., Zelle and HSA cards through PayPal.

  • Please note that there is a 48-hour cancellation policy. No Shows, late cancellations, and late rescheduled sessions will be charged at your full rate. Please know that canceling frequently may mean termination of therapy and all cancelations are to be made my phone call message only.
